The OPT-PMV Helicopter Landing Zone Signaling Pole Kit is a device designed to mark and make helicopter landing zones visible and secure. This kit is intended for quick, safe, and practical use in field contexts or temporary operations, thanks to its detachable structure that is easy to transport and assemble.

Key Features:

  • Pole: Made of steel, with a Ø 76 x 2 mm profile, divided into 2 detachable elements with M/F fittings.
    • The lower element is equipped with a spike for stability.
    • The upper element includes a plate for the beacon, wind sock attachment, and rings for tie-down ropes.
  • Painting: The pole is painted with white/red stripes, ensuring visibility from a distance.
  • Wind Sock Support: Includes a rotating element mounted at the top of the pole, with a rigid 850 mm element featuring an eyelet to secure the wind sock.
  • Wind Sock: Standard type, 1000 mm long, used to indicate wind direction and intensity.
  • Beacon: A fixed beacon with a yellow/orange dome, complete with a lamp, to signal the presence of the landing zone, even in low light conditions.
  • Battery Box: Made of galvanized and painted steel, complete with a cover to protect the battery from dust and moisture.
  • Battery: A 12 V / 36 Amp standard battery, providing power to the beacon.
  • Electrical Wiring: Internal wiring within the pole, complete with connections to the beacon and battery ground terminals.
  • Tie-down Cables: Includes 3 steel cables with tensioners, for securing the pole to the ground, along with 3 galvanized "T" pegs.
  • Overall Height: The pole has an overall height of 5 meters, ensuring high visibility from a long distance.
