The helmet cover with counterweight pocket OPT-15027 is designed for MITCH-type helmets with side Picatinny rails, particularly for the helmets recently issued to the Italian Army. Made from durable ripstop fabric, this helmet cover provides optimal protection while maintaining lightness and strength. The front panel is reinforced with double layers of fabric for added durability. It features Velcro panels on the outer surface, allowing for the attachment of accessories or identification patches, including IR markers. Additionally, there are loops for camouflage and eyelets for cable attachment. The rear pocket is designed to hold a counterweight and is secured with a Velcro closure, along with extra Velcro panels for ID or IR markers. The cover is one size fits all and is compatible with high, medium, and regular cut helmets. The total weight is just 100 grams.
